This Friday lecture and Saturday workshop examines how Rudolf Steiner’s economic thinking can be given practical effect today. A special emphasis is on whether and how economics, as financial literacy, is taught in schools. Educational initiatives arising today will have profound consequences for tomorrow’s thinking if, in both the form and content of their economics, they can embody an approach that is coherent from idea to practice. In the cultural life of one generation the economic life of the next is born.

If you would like support to implement the new economic ideas forwarded by Rudolf Steiner, you may want to consider the possibility to faciltate or participate in a Colours of Money workshop. The workshop is usually held over three days from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon.
The Colours of Money is the first course of a practical curriculum developed by monetary historian, Christopher Houghton Budd and colleagues towards the implementation of associative economic principals in personal or organizational finance.

An evening lecture / presentation which contextualizes and gives a sense of humanity's relationship to finance, past and future, as a mirror of consciousness and path of modern initiation. Special attention will be given to the significance of the 'Global Financial Crisis' and the possibility that a landscape beyond it can be conceived based on Rudolf Steiner's indications.
Figuring Out Finance and Creating Your Path
This event aims to provide an 'associative' grounding in financial orientation with a practical focus on entrepreneurial pursuit and project financing. The idea is to encourage participants to chart their own financial biographies and to gain a deeper perspective of how money works through the nuts and bolts of an associative accounting approach.
